LIGHT ON DARKNESS

Light and dark – monochrome, was the first form of photography. For many, like me, the primal form of this art still holds an irresistible attraction. It focuses the mind and spirit – helping us to see and hear more clearly.

The tone between the dark shadows and the light define black and white photography. This could also, in so many ways, be a definition of life – perhaps one subliminal reason this form of photography is still so popular.
